Privacy Policy
At a glance
We process as little personal data as possible. What we process serves the operation of the platform exclusively: never for third-party advertising, never for AI model training. Hosting in Switzerland and the EU. You can request access, correction or deletion at any time.

What data we process
- Waitlist signup: email address, optionally your first name and preferred language. Purpose: information about the launch and product-related updates.
- Contact: content of your message, email address, optionally phone number. Purpose: responding to your enquiry.
- Server logs: truncated IP address, timestamp, page visited, browser type, referrer. Purpose: security, error analysis, abuse prevention. Retention: max. 14 days.
- Analytics (if consented): anonymised visit statistics via Plausible or an equivalent cookie-less tool. No profiling, no sharing with third parties.
Legal bases
We process data based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Legal bases are typically:
- Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
- Contract performance or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Cookies & local storage
Technically necessary cookies (e.g. language selection) are set without consent. For all other cookies or local storage, particularly analytics, we obtain your consent in advance via our cookie banner. You can change the setting at any time via the «Cookies» link in the footer.
Processors & third-party services
We use carefully selected service providers that support us in operation and delivery. All have signed a data processing agreement (DPA) with us:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting (Frankfurt region, EU)
- Supabase: database hosting (Frankfurt region, EU)
- Resend: email delivery for waitlist confirmations
- Plausible Analytics: anonymous visit statistics (if consented), EU-hosted, cookie-less
Transfers to third countries occur, when unavoidable, exclusively on the basis of appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the Swiss equivalent).
Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Erasure («right to be forgotten»)
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent: at any time, informally
- Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Switzerland: FDPIC)
A simple email to info@hrit.ch is enough. We respond within 14 days.
Retention period
Waitlist entries are stored until launch and for a maximum of 12 months thereafter, unless you opt out earlier. Contact enquiries are deleted 6 months after completed processing. Server logs are automatically deleted after 14 days.
Security
Transmission encrypted via TLS 1.3. Data at rest encrypted (AES-256). Access logged, regular security reviews.
Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy to reflect changes in legal requirements or features. For material changes we notify active users by email.
